🔑 Key Takeaway

Through Jesus, we no longer need a priest, a ritual, or a sacrifice to come to God. The veil is gone. We have direct access to His presence, mercy, and revelation knowledge of Him.

📖 Scriptures

  • Luke 15:11-32 — Prodigal Son: the older brother (Old Covenant) vs. the younger brother (New Covenant).

  • Jeremiah 31:31-34 — God’s promise of a new covenant, written on our hearts.

  • 2 Corinthians 3:7-18 — The veil is lifted; we behold God’s glory through Christ.

  • 2 Corinthians 4:1-6 — The glory of Christ revealed.

  • Hebrews 9:11-15 — The blood of Christ cleanses our conscience to serve the Living God.

🪞 Heart Check

  • Do I live like the veil is still there?

  • Am I striving for God’s approval instead of receiving His love?

  • Have I believed the lie that I’m “too unworthy” or “too unqualified” to know God?

Say it out loud: “Jesus paid for me to come close.”

📝 Key Points

1.Old Covenant vs. New Covenant

  • In the Old Testament, people came to God through priests and sacrifices.

  • Sin was only temporarily covered; access to God was limited.

  • Many believers still live with this “old covenant” mindset — distant, striving, ritualistic.

2.What Jesus Paid For

  • His blood removed every barrier.

  • You don’t need a theology degree to know Him — only a heart willing to come close.

  • When you draw near, shame breaks off and freedom begins.

3.Beholding Changes You

  • Under the Old Covenant, Israel saw God’s glory through a man (Moses).

  • Under the New Covenant, we see God’s glory through Jesus Himself.

  • If you behold Him, you’ll know Him.

  • If you know Him, you’ll love Him.

  • If you love Him, you’ll love what He loves — and that breaks sin cycles.

4.The Veil is Lifted

  • In Christ, the veil is gone; nothing is blocking you from God’s presence.

  • His mercy leads to intimacy, not judgment.

  • Liberty in Christ is not a license to sin — it’s freedom to know and walk with God like Jesus did.

5.Your Purpose

  • Hebrews 9:14: The blood of Christ cleanses your conscience to serve the Living God.

  • If you feel purposeless, your purpose is to serve Him.

  • There is no greater joy than serving the Living God as His son or daughter.

🔥 Community Challenge This Week

  1. Draw Near – Take a moment each day to simply sit in God’s presence. Speak to Him as Father.

🙏 Prayer

“Lord, thank You for the New Covenant. Thank You that the veil is gone and I can come close. Cleanse my conscience, break off shame, and teach me to live in Your freedom and serve You with joy.”
